So You Think You Can Ice Dance?

Denver Figure Skating Club is pleased to announce two social dance sessions added to our club ice line-up! Social ice dancing is a fun way to practice the compulsory dances. A mixture of high and low dances will be played; skaters will all skate to the dance being played, either solo or as couples. While there will be no private instruction during the sessions, skaters new to ice dance are welcome to come and learn a few dances. The sessions are free to DFSC members, and $5 for non-members.

March 28 - 10-11:30 am, SS
Positions Still Open on Open-Juvenile Synchronized Skating Team

This exciting new addition to our developmental pipeline focuses on developing skaters' individual skills, brings a team environment to the world of skating, and prepares skaters to continue into nationally competitive levels and collegiate skating opportunities.

Skaters with Pre-preliminary moves in the field or higher are welcome to give our new Open-Juvenile team a try! All interested skaters are invited to skate one free practice session to meet the team and see if synchro would be a fun addition to your skating experiences!

Please contact our Synchro Director, Alicia Carr, for team practice times and other questions - alicia@denversynchro.org - 719-332-0197
Holiday Shows are Coming

The annual DFSC holiday shows will be taking place again this year and we encourage everyone to participate. The dates are still being confirmed but please keep your eyes open for our two club holiday shows. We will be doing shows at both the Ice at Southlands (where we were last year) as well as the Lake at Keystone. Dates will be sent out as soon as possible. Keep your eyes open and start thinking about your holiday program ideas.
