The Denver Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization, serving the skating community since 1938.
The purposes of the Denver Figure Skating Club are:
- To support and encourage the sport of figure skating within the local and regional community.
- To cultivate and develop a spirit of mutual respect and support among ice skaters, both competitive and recreational, of all ages and abilities.
- To adhere to the general policies of the U.S. Figure Skating.
The objectives of the Denver Figure Skating Club are:
- To encourage the instruction, practice and advancement of Denver Figure Skating Club members in all types of figure skating, including but not limited to moves in the field, freestyle, pairs, dance, and synchronized skating teams.
- To produce and/or cooperate in the production of amateur competitions and ice shows.
- To help interpret to club members the U.S. Figure Skating rules and regulations which govern figure skating testing, competitions, shows, exhibitions and other activities, and to carry out such policies.
